Wonderful doctor! His staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
Have not had him do any implants. Had him do a crown. I felt something sharp when I ran my tongue across the crown and questioned it 3 times before leaving his office. He even checked it again twice. I kept saying something is wrong. He said nothing was wrong. I went to another dentist he told me the crown was chipped. Also it was inferior cheaper product then what he uses. I had that crown replaced with a new crown by a different dentist. I have a picture of the crown that was chipped. The picture of the crown was visible to the eye. Shame on Dr Liu for lying to me. My husband stayed with him for years until he also did him wrong. I would never trust him again.
I have been a patient of Dr. L for the last 5 years and I will never step a foot into his etablishment again. I cannot even comprehend what I had just encountered this morning at 8:05 am. I got my wisdom teeth done on 1/27/16 at 2 oclock. After surgery I felt fine, anout 2 hours late I decided that I could eat and wasn't so numb. To my surprise I couldn't eat or drink because it hurt to much to swallow. I didn't have any pain by my teeth, just an extremely sore throat, my right side lymph node was a size of a golf ball and it hurt to move my head, along with sharp ear canal pain. I tried to cure it by taking another vicodin. It felt like an extreme case of strep... I was in tears just hysterically crying because I couldn't eat or drink anything...after 10 hours of just pain. when the dehydration got so bad I went into the ER at 3am after not being able to drink or eat for 24 hours. I was desperate to eat. I was treated for my dehydration with saline drip, antibiotics because my white cell count was up, pain medicine, benadryl and an anxiety sedation. The ER doctor took a look at my ears and throat and we're worried so they decided to take a CT. Hours later they said they saw a 1cm abscess and wanted to speak to my dentist regarding follow up... he did not answer. So skip a couple hours later right after the office opens, mind you I had to call him, DR.Lui answers... I told him my name and that I was having problems. He interrupted me and the first thing he asked about my care was... why would I go to the ER, they're not dentist... that they're not certified and was using an accusing tone, as if I was trying to stir the pot. He went on a rant, asking over and over why I would go in to somewhere like that. He spoke to me like I was uneducated "Its going to swell, and your teeth will hurt, did you forget you have surgery today?". He wouldn't let me get in a word about my situation... that it wasnt regarding my teeth but a hurtful abscess that has my body on defense to the point I can't eat. He decides to tell me that the ER is trying to take my money... and it's not an abscess but density that they habe no clue what theyre talking about. He than recommeds that i see a new dentist. At this point I'm starving and thirsty and give into defeat... I will never attend Dr.Lius dentist office and will repeat of his unruly bedside manner to anyone I cross. Ivee already sent in my CT scan to an oral surgeon and have gotten the reply confirming the ERs story for my "invisible abscess" that does not exist. I wasn't accusing him of malpractice on the phone, all I wanted was him to review my CT scan and see what the next step was.
